Why did you choose to work in the veterinary industry?

I have always been interested in healthcare/medicine and started out on the human side of things.  It wasn’t until I became a volunteer at an animal shelter and started fostering that I realized I wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals as well.  The veterinary profession allows me the chance to be in both worlds, human, and animals!

Tell us about your animals:  Bella and Kong are both Pomeranian mixes, Mya is a Pomeranian and Miley and Iana are shepherd/ basset mixes.  Included in the household are cats, rabbits, chinchillas, a hedgehog, goats, pigs and a fish named Shirley
