Dr. Jim Stark is a 1970 Iowa State University’s veterinary school graduate. He has been with Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital since the construction of the first CTAH building in 1972. He is particularly interested in orthopedic surgery, and enjoys the variety of species and medical/surgical cases that our hospital encounters. In his life away from CTAH, Dr. Stark raises alpacas and Boer goats, retired from the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra where he played trombone for over 30 years, and continues to play assorted community and dance band gigs.
