Your pets will have constant interaction with their human and canine friends while here. If you are interested in Doggy Daycare, please call us to set up an appointment to take a tour of our facility and to meet our staff, (563) 556-2667.

A typical day at daycare starts when your pet is dropped off and introduced to all of his/her friends in the "Welcome Room". They can get a good sniff of each other through a picket fence before being released to play together in a large indoor play area. These introductions work better for the shy puppies so things are not so overwhelming when everyone wants to say Good Morning at the same time.

Doggy DaycareThere are tunnels, balls, chew toys and for fun play, not to mention lots of pals looking to have some good romp times with friends. Then everyone goes outside where a fun game of fetch or keep away is enjoyed by the dogs. In the summer there is also a wading pool outside for the water-lovers. Some dogs just prefer to race in circles around the perimeter of the play areas and then relax in the shade for a morning nap. Friendships form in the group as the dogs learn to play with others and share their toys. When the afternoon rolls around, the dogs begin to learn when the small rugs come out it is quiet time and everyone settles down for a nap.  Some prefer to use this time to chew on a toy quietly in a corner.Dogs

After quiet time the music comes on, and back to either indoor or outdoor play time. The group is always supervised, and sometimes may be broken into smaller groups based on size and activity level when necessary. You are welcome to bring your dogs favorite toy, or a mid-day snack. For younger puppies, we will feed a mid-day meal you provide. While your pet will be excited to see you when you pick them up, they will be just as excited to come back the next day for more fun with friends.

To help keep our canine friends safe, the first visit will include a temperament interview with our manager. During the interview your pets reaction to our staff, facility and other dogs will be observed. Our goal is to make sure all of the dogs enrolled enjoy spending time playing and interacting with other dogs, which  insures the safety of everyone attending.
