Kennel

Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital has provided a boarding facility since 1988 for both dogs and cats. The facility includes 18 indoor/outdoor runs, which gives the boarding pets access to the outdoor runs during the daytime hours. We also have 11 indoor runs for smaller dogs that provide a quieter more intimate environment. All dogs have twice daily access to our outside fenced-in areas where they can run freely. We feed Iam's Low Residue in our kennels, however, if your pet is on a special diet you are encouraged to bring your own food in individual meal bags and any medications they will need during their stay. In additon all dogs staying two or more nights will be given a complimentary bath.

The following options are also available for boarding dogs;

  • Nail Trims
  • Doggie Daycare on a per hour basis
  • One-on-One playtime in 15 or 30 minute incruments
  • Fuminator deShedding with bath
  • Furminator deShedding with Complmentary bath
Furminator deShedding tools use patented technologies to:
    • Remove the undercoat and loose hair
    • Works better than any brush to reduce shedding up to 90%
    • Brings out the natural oils, promoting healthier skin and a shiny coat
    • Reduce the amount of airborne elements which cause allergic reactions

Cat BoardingCat Condo

Our feline friends can enjoy the cat condo amenities. We have a large playground for our more curious cats, and the less active can enjoy a nice nap in the sun in one of the deluxe condos. We feed Science Diet Dry Adult cat food, but if you have a finicky eater, please bring along his/her own food, and any medications they may be on.

All pets must be 14 weeks of age or older to board at Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital. They must be current on:

  • Rabies
  • Dog - DHPP
  • Cat - FVRCP
  • Bordatella (kennel cough) *Dogs only

We also encourage your pet to be on a de-worming regiment and flea/tick prevention, but these are not required.

ParrotIf you are interested in boarding your pet at ColonialTerrace Animal Hospital, we ask that you call ahead to make reservations. We encourage you to stop by and take a tour of our facility before you plan on boarding the first time. During your visit, we can answer any questions you might have and help determine which part of our facility would be best suited for your pet. Towels and blankets are provided, but you can bring in any special toys or blankets as long as they are labeled with your pets name prior to/at drop-off. Unfortunately we can not be responsible for boarders possessions, so please only bring articles that can be replaced.
